SCOTT BURMAN, PARTNER

Scott Burman has been in the real estate industry as an owner/developer and a principal at The Engel Burman Group since 2001.  During Scott's tenure at the Engel Burman Group, he has been an integral part of the company’s business development and operations.  He has extensive professional experience and expertise in the real estate industry and specializes in acquisitions, project planning, municipal approvals, financing and leasing.  At EB, he has lead an array of transactions of various product types and sizes including large industrial and office portfolio acquisitions and dispositions and the development of multifamily residential and assisted living projects with total values in the hundreds of millions of dollars. In addition to his primary role at The Engel Burman Group, Scott has acted as a principal in other investment and development transactions throughout the New York metro area. He is also a founding partner of Paramount Realty USA, a real estate auction company www.prusa.com Scott received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Marketing from New York University's Leonard Stern School of Business. Scott is an executive board member for the Long Island Real Estate Group and the co-founder of their "New Generation Division."  Scott is also the recipient of The Long Island Business News' 2010 award for, "Rising Star in Commercial Development."
