DAVID BURMAN, PRINCIPAL

David Burman is an innovative real estate owner / developer and a principal with The Engel Burman Group since 2003. Mr. Burman has been involved with a broad spectrum of real estate disciplines including land acquisitions, project planning, municipal approvals, construction and sales. His current efforts include all aspects of Engel Burman strategic development including residential construction, assisted living facilities, office developments and retail projects throughout the eastern seaboard.

Bricks and mortar are not his sole area of business expertise. Mr. Burman joined Data Storage Corporation, a leading provider of disaster recovery and business continuity in the winter of 2008, and served as the firm’s Director of Ecommerce through the spring of 2010. He was responsible for the sales, marketing and overall performance of the company’s division that oversees small office-home office data backup and disaster recovery.

In addition to his executive roles at Engel Burman and Data Storage Corporation Mr. Burman holds a principal position with Metalskin, a New York City based provider of fine leather jewelry/accessories. The Metalskin brand features luxury products in over 100 stores worldwide.

Mr. Burman acquired a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from The University of Miami, majoring in finance with an emphasis on real estate. David also holds a Grande Diplôme from The French Culinary Institute with a concentration in Classic French Culinary Arts.

He brings to his career a strong multifaceted approach to meeting the demands of real estate, IT and fashion, depending on his strong work ethic and artistic eye to bring about success in the marketplace.
