The Engel Burman Group Corporate Headquarter, Garden City, NY

A perfect example of the innovation and vision shared by the partners at The Engel Burman Group is their own, new office space in Garden City, Long Island. This landmark building was one of the original power stations on Long Island, built in 2003. The smoke stack, brick façade and exposed infrastructure in the interior throw-back to another time and place, resulting in a completely original environment that is at once inviting, practical and surprising. A “floating” staircase, huge plate glass windows for each office and on the front of the building, a stainless steel unisphere on an outdoor patio, and authentic plane parts that are used for architectural accents and furniture through out (harkening back to Long Island’s aviation history) amuse and serve the inhabitants and visitors.
